Hi all,
can someone help me setting up the N900 SIP client for a VOIP account of german telekom?
Telekom uses different terminology than N900 SIP client.

Telekom terms:
SIP-ID/Benutzer: Ihre Telefonnummer
Bildschirmname (falls vorhanden): Ihre Telefonnummer
Authentifizierungsname / Benutzername: Ihre E-Mail-Adresse, z. B. ihr-name@t-online.de
Passwort: Ihr Passwort
SIP-Proxy: tel.t-online.de
Registrar: tel.t-online.de
Realm: tel.t-online.de
STUN-Server: stun.t-online.de
Outbound-Proxy: leer lassen oder ebenfalls tel.t-online.de

Thanks in advance
regards

hi.
I have a free account at iptel.org that works flawlessly with my N900, maybe you can try one to learn more about it.

On the other hand you may also try clients suggested by DT on a PC to make a start or ask them about the compliance status of their servers/registrars.

Good luck.

In Settings/VoIP and chataccounts/New
I see SIP and to set up a new account you can fill in Address & Password.
In advanced settings you can fill in all the data provided by telecom.
Perhaps you can give it a try?
