1st a question: is it possible to disable the sim in maemo 5?

if not,

i myself could use such a function on the n900. maybe.. more people?

(when using dual sim one could have the n900 turned on, disabling the sim and using the other phone, since my provider wont let me have 2 phones on at the same time with same sim card)

I can have a copy too but only one is active on data, and I cant use the primary on data while talking on the other (that would be my use case)

That's why I'd love Google Voice in UK as well!

I'd use my primary number for Google Voice and route the calls on my primary phone (not the N900) and on the second (the N900) when the other is not under reach.
