I am trying to increase the timeout for when Skype forwards calls if they are not answered. The default is 15 seconds, which is too short for my uses. Apparently this is a per device setting, but the N9 does not include this in the Call Forwarding settings in Skype settings.

However, I have discovered that /user/.Skype/<skype_username>/config.xml configures this setting with the following line:

Code:
<NoAnswerTimeout>15</NoAnswerTimeout>
If I change this to another value, for example 30, after Skype has logged in then indeed the N9 waits 30 seconds instead of 15 before forwarding the call. Problem partially solved.

However, as soon as you log out of Skype and back in again the value in the file is reset to 15.

Anyone know how to permanently change the value? There must be a way of setting it somewhere else in the filesystem, or failing that, writing a script that will write the value into config.xml every time after Skype logs in (which is completely beyond me).
