no idea... i bought 2 wiimotes yesterday i wanted to try it so bad, and i got it working!!

i dont own a wii so dont know about classic pad...

but from what i can tell, classic pad has a cable and therefore doesnt support bluetooth, so im pretty certain they wont work.....

see below (part of wiicontrol) config file, you can only map certain buttons. you can see button B is missing..?

Code:
.........mapping={
    'U': ["a Left"], # dpad left
    'D': ["a Right"], # dpad right
    'L': ["a Down"], # dpad down
    'R': ["a Up"], # dpad up
    'A': ["a s"], # A
    '+': ["k F7"], # volume +
    '-': ["k F8"], # volume -
    '1': ["a a"], # 1
    '2': ["a w"], # 2
    'H': ["a x"], # start
'GU': ["a Up"], # gyro up
'GD': ["a Down"], # gyro down
'GL': ["a Left"], # gyro left
'GR': ["a Right"], # gyro right
    'Z': ["a ?"], *unknown
    'C': ["a ?"] *unknown
 .............

the Classic Pad connects to the WiiMote via the cable, not to the Wii itself.

Therefore the controls from the Classic Pad must be transfered to the console via Bluetooth using the standard WiiMote connection.

If should theoritically be possible to interpret these controls on the N900.

It depends on what your idea of "working" is. Having a randomish lag to all your button presses from 20ms to 500ms is not what I would consider working unfortunately... and there's nothing that can be done to fix it except use a different Bluetooth based controller.

I am trying to troubleshoot some issues I am having with this. Namely it won't always stay connected to the remote. Is there a sequence that works everytime? Must I turn on BT, then hit 1+2 then start wiicontrol? I get to that point then I cannot click on any of the options and it will disconnect itself after a few moments. It did work yesterday (too well - the wiimote wouldn't disconnect itself) but now, nothing.

these steps work for me 95% of the time:
  1. enable BlueTooth, with visibility ON
  2. press a button on WiiMote
  3. open WiiControl
  4. repeatedly press the 1+2 buttons together, until it says connected
  5. if you want gyros on, press "gamepad+gyros" button then press a button on WiiMote
  6. then it should work!!

This is really weird. I am still getting the same thing - i.e. it will work for a few moments then disconnect (I am unable to click on any of the options in wiicontrol but I can change the volume). This is ridiculous.
