Yeah!. Now if I had the time and skill to try this on Jolla and N900...

But maybe somebody is already working on this. It would greatly benefit us all if we get cheap and really good random number generators on almost all devices. Such a program should come with GNU/Linux kernel as default and be operable if there is a camera attached. Some kind of calibration map for make/model of the camera device might be needed.

Yeah. Imagine the possibilities. Everyone having a true random number generator in their pockets. As long as they also carry with them a calibrated source of green light and an equipment to illuminate all pixels evenly.

Or you could generate a number from any picture/location/timestamp combination. Chances of that repeating are about as high as 2 to the number of bits in that number.
