Hello all!

I'm a proud N900 user, new to this forum, so hi

just one quick question?

I haven't installed nitdroid yet but I know I can send an sms using my providers website(using my number, but not my phone).

Would this activate Whatsapp for further use? Or do you need to be able to send regular SMS messages all the time?

thanks in advance

PS
I'd rather not have the "whatsapp haters" replying in this topic, I've seen them enough already. I know it's not the open source program we all love, so don't bother me with those damn useless comments.

Hi there,
Whatsapp has nothing to do with SMS protocol.
If you have Internet access, it will work.
Cheers.

Use Kik messenger instead for Nitdroid. It does not require SMS verification to register your account and it's might fast. Just requires internet connectivity. Cheers!
