...which is strange. While i absolutely had to use the nexus, i couldn't stand it because to me it was a fluid but quickly boring waste of plastic

Damn man I'm looking at all my thanked posts, all the stuff I've presented to this community, I'm speechless, it was a hell of a ride.

This place has been a positive source of change for me, I can't thank the people around here enough, and while the good ones are already gone, cordy, Switch_, elie... some are still here, a lot of newcomers I see, but there's one thing for sure, this place is being dominated by Harmattan.

I still remember coming in here not knowing what in the hell ./MyDocs meant, and I still remember walking out of here as a Python developer and a Bash scripter, a Gimp designer, a person whom at least "knws hw to typ prperly", this place has been a joy!

But 3 years is just enough, my N900 is already collecting dust, time to let the birdies fly :P

Its very embarrasing to see ammyt also saying bye bye to N900 NitDROID call functionality. Anyway thanks for all your great efforts.

I have installed nitdroid on my n900 with the installer 2.8.8 all goes well during the installation but when i boot nitdroid i see the android boot screen and after few second the led start blinking and also the screen and continue forever
any solutions?

Hi I installed Nitdriod but after 6 hours my N900 gone in boot looping and now i spended lot on it to get back my phone now should i try again or not?

i think i did something wrong while trying to install gingerbread
output of df -h is
Nokia-N900:~# df -h /
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
rootfs 227.9M 223.5M 396.0k 100% /

trying to install kernel and it says
Nokia-N900:/home/user/MyDocs# dpkg -i NITDroid-kernel-Mido.Fayad.deb
(Reading database ... 28975 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06 (from NITDroid-kernel-Mido.Fayad.deb) ...
Android not found. MUST be mounted on '/and'
dpkg: error processing NITDroid-kernel-Mido.Fayad.deb (--install):
subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
NITDroid-kernel-Mido.Fayad.deb
Nokia-N900:/home/user/MyDocs#
