Hi.
I had a problem with my battery this week, it happens only one time, during skiing (maybe due to cold weather, about -4°c?) when I tried to make a video. Red icon, and telling impossible to make a video due to low level batery. When I took my N9 out of the pocket, few hours after, to charge it, battery was ok again!!!
I used the phone with lower temperature (-15°C) without such trouble.
Any idea?

@cevenn
I have exactly the same experience - when skiing if I put the phone in outer pockets - battery goes to red, video can not be shot. SO now I keep it in inner(warmer) pockets close to the body.
N9 battery seems to be very easily affected by low temperatures. Unlike N900 and other phones.
You can have a look at this: http://www.macworld.co.uk/ipad-iphon...pe=allchandate
iPhone 4S and Nokia N9 are the worst cases according to this study.

I guess this is a sensor problem , the battery life should not be affected even if the phone shows "low battery" .

Just change the battery.. oh wait... >.<

This is one of the main things that's stopping me of getting an N9..
Also this type of problem has happened with me before on the N8-00 and the N900.. Just try to keep it a bit warm like how someone mentioned earlier..

Thanks all!
Strange trouble, it was in a warm place, in my snow jacket inner pouch, and I was able to make pictures within -15°C without trouble last week.
Maybe it only happens with video?

No, happened to me with sports tracker, camera and any other use.
The battery just can't stand cold weather which is not good.

Hello cevenn, i see that you live in France like me Same problem here Look at the BatteryGraph of mine : suddenly at about 30% of charge, the battery goes down to exactly a value of 4% ( like as discribe in this thread http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=82128 ) and then come back to normal value after about 5 minutes. I think it's a software or sensor bug. It happened to me 3 time during 1 month of use without explication.

Hi every one,

I had the same problem. In addition, I also had a problem of "Incorrect password" with all synchronizations. What I did? Reinstall my N9 OS (PR 1.1) via Nokia Sofware Update (NSU) using a Windows 7 PC (I'm an ubuntu user). For NSU to work with N9, you need also to install "Nokia Link". This will also help you to backup you phone. After reinstalling my N9, the phone is absolutelly fluide and the battery is OK (2 days in average for normal use). The password problem is also solved.

N9 is a great phone!
