As a diabetic and now proud N900 owner, I was thinking that it would be very cool to have a simple logging application.

One that could be sent bloodsugars via RF even would be amazing..

But essentially: An app that replicates the behavior of any of the existing programs for other OSes would be great. Bloodsugar and insulin dosage records and graphical analysis.

So I guess I'm suggesting somewhat of a port.

Though I don't know what program I would suggest.

Anyone have any recommendations?

It would be simple enough to whip something together using Python to list and plot results over various times, etc.

Getting the data on is another matter, as the N900 doesn't have IR reception hw nor does it support USB host, I can't see many ways of directly connecting a meter. Unfortunately there weren't, when I last looked, and meters that supported BT.

OTOH I guess there must be some applications available somewhere which would serve as a starting point.

I started this project a few days ago for my own use.

It should be ready for testing over the next week or so.

Feel free to make suggestions.

Ok I am now working on the charting options for this project.

Currently it is just running on my Ubuntu Laptop but as it is written in Qt 4 and all in python it should be easy to move to the N900 when completed.

Please if anyone has ideas of charts and other features they would like to see. Pipe up.

Feel free to download the SVN version of the code from sourceforge and have a play.
