The first version of CountYourScores is now released.

It is used for counting and keeping score for (real life) games where score is counted by adding preset values together (e.g. some card games). The number pad is customizable.

It is available for N9/N950 & N900.

Here is a screenshot of the main screen (on Harmattan):

As it may not be that intuitive I placed some instructions on its web site: http://helihyv.github.com/CountYourScores/

The N900 version is nearly identical, but exiting the app is done from menu (screenshot below).

Download:

For N9/N950: free from Nokia Store http://store.ovi.com/content/357083

For N900: extras-devel

Sources are available from https://github.com/helihyv/CountYourScores

Bugs and feature requests can be reported at https://github.com/helihyv/CountYourScores/issues

I was looking for something like this just recently. But in my case it was not for counting card games but counting what people drink on our gathering meetings. Some additions to your app and I'm all yours. Not litteraly though

Let's say we are 14 guys at each meeting. Drinks available are beer, wine and liquor. I want to be able to keep track of each person and what they drink with a simple tap. Person A takes a beer, one touch and it is registered. Person C takes a glas of wine and a glass of liquor, two touches and it's registered. If I then could save all this in a good format like .csv file it would be a blast. Then I can charge them rather accuratly afterwards since cash is no where to be seen these days, only cards

There are some accounting apps etc in the store but they are too complicated to achive this in a simple way.
What do you think? Anything to consider? At all

And what about update for Maemo? Is it coming, too?

Thanks!

@Mric: Strange, I got that too. Could be a temporary server error on Store, though.

@Estel: Yes, update for Maemo is coming. It just still needs some work...
