I gave it a a last try and it worked by disabling the scratchbox redirection for libtool and libtoolize.
@marmistrz: Could you update the packages in http://repos.fuhlbrueck.net/qt5-maem.../libx/libxc11/ in your mirror?

Good idea. I added a date file, too:
http://repos.fuhlbrueck.net/qt5-maemo5/last-update

Now you can easily see if the mirror is up to date.

Now qt5-webkit (and -dev) are updated, too. Furthermore I compiled (unmodified) two Qt5 apps and uploaded them to http://repos.fuhlbrueck.net/qt5-maemo5-examples/ .

The first is otter-browser, an opera like Qt5Webkit based browser, the second is sigil, an epub-editor.

Just download the .xz, unpack it and run it. If you like to use the Maemo5 style, use the switch "-style maemo5" (IMHO not useful for those two apps).

frafl: I don't know whether you know, but the Maemo Qt5 package name aren't consistent with the ones in Ubuntu. This might cause confusion.

Ubuntu (or rather Debian) packages of Qt5 are more fine-grained, i.e. mostly by modules not by git repositories. However there are meta-packages corresponding to repos: see e.g. https://packages.debian.org/sid/qtbase5-dev. The bigger packages are easier to maintain, so I'd like to stick with them for now.

If we need to match Ubuntu/Debian one day, we simply make smaller packages and use meta-packages for the current names. The only confusing names are Maemo's qt5-declarative (= quick2 + qml) vs Debian's libqt5declarative (= quick1). But choosing a name that neither matches modules nor repos is even more confusing.

Binary compatible application packages for Ubuntu (touch) and Maemo will IMHO not happen, since each platform needs some minor quirks.
