Let's blow fire by using your N810!

Install :
  • 1.Download <del><blowthefire.tar.gz> </del> <blowthefire-v2.tar.gz> to your tablet (to a non-FAT drive).
  • 2.start Osso-Xterm
  • 3.run "tar xvzf /your/download/dir/blowthefire-v2.tar.gz" #extract
  • 4.run "cd /your/download/dir/blowthefire" #go to dir
  • 5.run "./blowthefire.sh" or "./blowthefire-lite.sh" #start main programs
  • 6.blow fire ! (blow a mic of N810) .
  • 7.press "q" key to exit.

Caution :
Nokia and I do not have responsibility and shall not be liable for it.
When your too long breath caused your tablet burn (by frictional heat ) , that is ALL your fault !
All your fault are belong to you!

Stuffs (in blowthefire.tar.gz) :
blowthefire/
blowthefire/arecord #recorder app
blowthefire/blowthefire.sh #little script
blowthefire/blowthefire-lite.sh #it runs more smoothly
blowthefire/esddsp #emulator of /dev/dsp
blowthefire/libesddsp.so.0
blowthefire/synaesthesia #very cool sound visualizer

Tips :
  • you can use <synaesthesia> as a visualizer for MusicPlayers
    Code:
    ./synaesthesia esd
    but if you want more functional and low-latency visualizer , I recommend <eXtace> (ss: 1 2 3 )in easy-debian .

    Update :
    Update1 : add <blowthefire-lite.sh> script.

Rofl, he's talking about the air from you breath burning the tablet like what happens to space objects entering earth atmosphere

or then again maybe he wants you to practice your blowing skill with the (miami) heats.

Maybe you're also interested in porting Libvisual, ProjectM (Milkdrop for *NIX), and GForce to N8x0. These are much nicer visualisation applications than the ones you linked to. IMNSHO

t_moyashi, this doesn't work to me. Firstly it gave "permission denied" error, so i edited the blowthefire.sh and where it had "./" i put "sh". Then it run but it gave a syntax error in esddsp...

I was under the impression that GForce is not any more free. Do you know where I could get it at least for my PC?
