I even took the exec string from the transformers game .desktop file and ran it from the x-terminal and the game starts just fine.
So I'm confused, if I can run the .desktop file's Exec line and it works in the term, what could keep it from running when I click on the icon?
It also created a .desktop file shortcut icon to the game. This icon doesn't work, as it just bombs out without error.
When I look at the .desktop file in question, it appears to conform to all of the rules in http://wiki.maemo.org/Desktop_file_format.
