is there a way to get rid of the "joikuspot" in the ssid of joikuspot for the n900??? i looked for the .ini file but i couldnt seem to find it easily.

You might try installing mobilehotspot instead, which just made it to the stable extras repository.

Last time I used it, it was pretty good. Lacking WPA and the ability to configure IP addresses and a few other odds and ends you would normally expect, but if you need something in a hurry it's absolutely more than good enough.

Will Mobilehotspot work with Titan's kerner?

You need titans kernel for it to work; it won't with the default Meamo.

i have been using joiku since my n82 and i love it..... hate the fact that i cannot remove the JOIKU from this version tho.... was able to do it on the symbian version. anyone know if the .ini file (if there is one) contsains that info? or if its deletable or able to be altered?
