I am using MfE with NuevaSync to sync my Google calendar and contacts.

It works fine with GPRS, how ever if I try to do it via wifi, it does not work.
I get the error message "host address for exchange server not valid".
Is there any network configuration like port forwarding necessary?

most likely your ISP blocked th default port 110 for outbound mail.
you will need to reconfigure your Mfe to use your ISP as outbound mail server

You've got DNS problems on your wifi. You can try setting either (or both) the N900 or wifi router to use the Google DNS servers instead (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).

Thank you very much, that solved the problem.
No clue why it does not work automatically with my ADSL modem.
