I thought that if Windows 95 runs well via DOSBox, why not try Android x86...?

Attempting to run Android X86 through emulation on the N900 would be next to impossible, and pretty pointless given that the majority of Android applications run on ARM.

You have the massive overhead of the Dalvik VM which would make it pretty much impossible to use in an emulator on these devices, if it didn't run out of resources while booting first.

Thanks... That was just a thought that crossed my mind... I guess I'll just wait for the release of nitdroid n15...

what about ARM quemu + minimal android, just for non graphic intensive applications?
