Can someone help me with the following?

1. How to set up push email.

2. How to set up BBC World Service on any of the N9 radio apps? The preset don't come with BBC.

Thanks!

1. How open ( as in open source) is the calendar app? Will it be possible to change ( or perhaps with the help of an add-on) calendar layout to week grid view?

2. How good is the calendar ? Is the task app as bad as in N900?

samgan: open email app, input mail adress and pass, then go to settings, device, notifications, notifications, activate mail, go into push notifications and activate. to add more accounts open accounts from appgrid and choose new email account.

storm11: just go to feeds and its on the top of the feedslist.

Does the N9 read/recognize QR codes natively, or is there an app (such as mBarcode) for that...?

Never mind about the BBC radio. I got the answer here:

but the push email is still a problem.

how is it a problem?

btw im running 30 processes in multitasking now, and the device still handles very well. bit laggy while the processes load up but when theyve gotten past the startup phase its all good.

can push for hundred+ processes if anyone wants a video of it to see how it fares.

To me, the calendar and todo is much better than the N900.
Calendar is sleek, fast and better laid out than N900 ever was.

To do is well laid out and has an alarm reminder for the todo and you can specify the reminder time also to the exact hour and minute you want. (Same day, 1/2/3 day or 1 week before for the day selection) You can also specify which calendar for it to be added to and section for extra notes. But you can’t have more than 1 alert for each todo.

Once todo is created, it shows up in all the calendar views and there is even a check box next to the todo subject name in every view. (the week view shows the todo at the top of that view when the day it is due is selected so you can't miss it)

Oh. Also try this 10000BC trailer which my N8 can play 100% perfectly.

Tried on N950 Beta2, unfortunately the videos played as what you described.

N8 plays 1000BC probably due to the Broadcom VideoCore processor supporting more formats.
