I have rotation of widgets working now. It just needs a few tidy ups and be added as an option to the settings and then I will push out a new version. By default I will disable it though.

I have added an example for an application launcher button to the wiki (useful if you want it to rotate or customize it).
It would be fairly easy to create a launch bar or grid with this and is left as an exercise to the user

Just a bit of background as it has come up in other threads re quick-widgets vs. "normal" (qt) widgets.
One of the main reason behind quick-widgets is to reduce memory usage. Thanks to the ideas in sticky-notes all widgets are part of a singleton application, so multiple widgets don't increase memory usage the same as different homescreen widgets would do.

A new patch release (0.3.2) is out now. This will remove the "homewidget" style background drawing a regression introduced in the last version.

BTW, I am working on a script which creates debian packages for quick-widgets. This should simplify adding them to the repository and/or installation.

I flashed my N900 yesterday and encountered this problem while trying to install QuickWidgets: it says I'mmissing the version of libqtm-declarative it requires. What am I missing here and how do I get around this?
