Karam's batterypatch, will it crash when we install your patch?
Karam's batterypatch IS my patch, why would you install two patches that are the SAME? Karam updated his batterypatch with all the scripts in my patch, so, the SAME.

What I did is install his speedpatch, then my patch.

thanks for the explanation~

I am so confuse about all the patch .

======

I am using the default gb patch.

Phone eventually reboot and a message show up the custom kernel didn't load.

Check cpu frequency, is 250 to 600mhz.

The phone auto reboot when i call people (in the default kernel mode? not sure)

temporary uninstall the patch, waiting for help to solve it.

Kinda like android in a way..
i want ideal for locked and my own profile for unlocked with my voltage settings.
and oh, wont this have a conflict with the speedpatch's battery patch?
Here is what to do:
Code:
root
leafpad/vi/nano /usr/local/bin/overclock
Edit the lines the way you want, via any text editor.

Look at the post on top of this page to understand.

EDIT: To clarify, karam's first batterypatch was simply a vfs_cache_pressure controller, that sets its value to 10 while idle, and 100 while active. I then released a battery patch which includes the vfs_cache_pressure script, plus underclocking/undervolting when idle, overclock/overvolting when active, and pausing greedy processes while idle and resuming them while active. Then, karam updated his battery patch with the scripts in my patch.

What people here are saying, like, karam's patch worked but yours didn't, or your patch gave better results than karam's... That's because my patch is a bit more extreme than karam's, i.e. stronger underclocking/undervolting, more processes pausing, that's the reason.

Code:

leafpad /usr/local/bin/underclock
Edit the kernel-config lines the way that suits your device.

To anyone wishing to use a different active profile:
1. Save the profile you want to use by:
kernel-config save xxx
2. leafpad /usr/local/bin/overclock
3. Replace the top most two lines starting by kernel-config with:
kernel-config load xxx

hey.. uhmm.. how can i monitor the locked frequency?
and plus..

#!/bin/sh
brightness=$(cat /sys/class/backlight/acx565akm/brightness)
keyboard=$(cat /sys/devices/platform/gpio-switch/slide/state)
proximity=$(cat /sys/devices/platform/gpio-switch/proximity/state)

if [ "$brightness" == "0" ]; then
if [ "$keyboard" == "closed" ]; then
kernel-config load starving
kernel-config limits 125 500
echo 10 > /proc/sys/vm/vfs_cache_pressure
done
fi
fi

i removed the last 2 lines.. *dont ask why*
would the script be effected?

New Update:
Since freemangordon released his 720p patches/libraries, Dynamic CPU Scaling for people playing 720p videos will produce a bad performance. The new update fixes that, it was tested to produce best 720p quality playback and overall performance versus battery saving and so far yields great results. 720p videos play flawlessly with no single framedrops in all media players.

To install, tap on .deb then install then reboot.
