This one should better focus on applications for Sailfish.

An app that spies on you just like all the other apps but returns you money for that.

Maybe these guys may go life on mobile.

Just thinking about (while complaining about Spype) it and somebody already invented it or is busy inventing it.

looks like there is ALOT of apps for developers to port and make some money on.

But next questions would be if people is willing to pay even if app is open?

Been busy emailing devs to see where they're at with porting apps:

Marxian is busy cleaning up code with a view to porting cutetube and Musikcloud to Sailfish in the near future

Le bien cuong who developed Call Recorder intends to port his application across as soon as he gets a device

I&N Mobisoft intend to port their products across

I'm trolling the Ovi store and slowly sending out emails to devs to see where they're at.

If anyone here has apps they intend to port, and you want people to know, feel free to PM me, and I'll update the first post with info.

I'll pay good money for good applications.

Hoping that Jolla can either set up their own or piggyback on to hacking workshops to help devs. This worked very well for BB , as evidenced by some of the media releases. 12k apps ported and submitted in one weekend session alone as i recall.

Waiting until Qt Dev Days at the end of the year, doesn't leave much time for QA before product launch IMO

That leads me to the idea, that it would be nice if the Jolla store contained official support for sending donations. All my applications are open source and distributed for free - I just like them to be as widely available as possible.

And while they all have donation buttons in the respective About page in the application (PayPal, Flattr & Bitcoin ), not everyone has PayPal/Flattr or Bitcoin account, which might not be even available in their respective country and users are also not very likely to get it just to send a small tip to a favorite developer.

On the other hand, the store could either use carrier billing and/or a paired credit card, thus making donations quite a lot less painful for the users. Even if Jolla took a cut, it would still be IMHO a net benefit.

An example of this being already used somewhere could be the Mozilla Addons page, that has a built-in button for sending donations to Firefox Extension authors. It uses PayPal, but at least it is built-in.

PLEASE NOTE
I am now updating the application request list in the original post with info from Developers, to advise of any plans or current status for SailfishOS ports.

DEVS
please PM me with any info you would like to share, so I can update accordingly.

I will be in touch with Jolla today to ask if they are willing to confirm/provide any info regarding core applications and functionality
Please understand that information from Jolla will be entirely based on what they are prepared to share form a commercial persepctive, and is based on the current confirmed information regarding hardware specs etc.

Regards

Gigwalk, BofA, and an FM radio app that doesn't eat the battery quickly. Can there be any way to get am radio stations?

Would like to be able to play stuff like worldwinner games on my phone.
Bring the mouse cursor from the corner back, remember the N900.

Need flash in browser as tons of websites use it. If no flash need flash to work in alien dalvik and I'll use dolphin browser from android.
