Is it possible to disable the Cellular Data Services? I have it blocked from AT&T's side so I know it shouldn't be able to send/receive. I'd just like to reduce my battery/cpu consumption if there is any associated with that.

Note: I still want to be able to use Voice and Standard Texts.

you can disable 3G with 3G/2G/dual mode selection applet from the repositories.. but im not sure if you can disable 2G and still use voice and texts..

edit: with cell-modem-ui you can disable all cellular services

Here's how you'll be good to go:

Under

Settings -> Internet connections -> Connect automatically

set it to

Wi-Fi

You probably have it set to

Any connection

And it sounds like you don't need 3G, so under

Settings -> Phone -> Network mode

set it to GSM
