I'm using Windows 2K3 and want to update the N900 firmware (actually just like to reflash it to solve a problem).

However: It will detect the N900 in Update Mode but the driver can't be initialized (Error Code 39, see attachments). Normal PC Suite mode or Flash-Drive Mode works ansolutely fine.

Driver has been uninstalled already with the Nokia Cleaner. Using latest flasher.

Any ideas?

You could always try using a Ubuntu live CD. This should work on any pc.

Yea, but that's a big donload hen u just have a 10KB/sec internet connection... Any other ideas how to get it run?

Finally it worked once on XP. Maybe the flashing drivers aren't designed for Windows 2003?!
