Hello there,

I'm selling my beloved Jolla C, with working battery and almost no scratches:
- none on the display (using a screen protector, which can be removed of course)
- a bump on the bottom right edge
- a small smack on the right side near the display

I'll post photos and details this afternoon.

Asking: 150 - non insuranced shipping within Europe (from VIenna): ~10-15

Pictures as promised:

Do you still have the phone? How much would you sell the phone these days?

I live in Spain.

Hi.

I just sent you a private message, you're everywhere!.

As I said in my PM, my device is still for sale, but I still need to find out how to transfer the Jolla account to the new owner. I'll let you know ASAP.

Regards.

What do you mean by that and why would you want to do that?

When selling the device, do a factory reset and all account information is lost. The new owner will have to set up the phone with theirs. If this is their first use of Sailfish, they will have to create a new account. Simples.

If you mean to literally transfer your account to someone else, then a) I am struggling to find a good reason why and b) you can just give them the login details.

Hi.

Thank you @pichlo.
I did not know that the IMEI is setup in the account as soon as you register your device.

Regards.

I did not know that either. Is it? Did I say anything of that sort?

I thought that the Jolla account only had the username and password. It can be after all shared among multiple devices.

As explained here, the sole purpose of the account is that the Jolla app store keeps track of the subset of apps that you have installed to speed up the working out what needs to be updated. The alternative would be that the phone would download the entire collection manifest each time which would take much longer (and is the reason why it takes so long on the N900). There are other options but, as mentioned in the same post, Jolla did not think about them.
