Well... our company uses google apps for email hosting,
either using imap, pop3 or nokia messaging work for the company email in my case.

We work directly with Verizon and Qualcomm in both client and server development. So, I do think it's a serious company but we don't use provisioning or any sort.

And I'm pissed off that i'm not qualified for even a penny in the $8000 housing cash from the US government, so I guess I do have a real job.

Everyone has their reason to use or return a phone and I respect that, but don't assume we're all the same.
And I don't think it's a false advertisement if it does work in most of the cases and they're sovling the issues they're supporting.

I found out about non-provisioning the hard way. It was buried in vitaly's thread, which began after I bought the phone. I would be happy if I can help other potential customers realize that MfE on this device is not the same as MfE on E71 or E51 (I have both and work great). Until NOKIA posts on their website that N900 does not provision, I will continue to warn the future potential customers of this pitfall

Once again that ol' E vs N distinction rears its ugly head...

You are right. The last two companies I worked for let me use iphone without any issues. So I guess I am lucky, but happy as email client incredibly user friendly

TexRat implies that MfE is different on N vs. E devices. Your links do not address his implications. I want to see what NOKIA has on their website that talks about that difference, since I am unaware of it
