Here is a direct link: http://www.vajacases.com/home/home_e...&c=8&it=12&s=1

For those interested, Vaja now makes a case for the N810. Go to www.vajacases.com and select PDA, then Nokia, and then N810.

It's a simple slip case like the one that comes with the unit, but it looks much better and is completely customizable with your choice of leather type, color scheme, and can even have is personalized with your name or logo.

Prices starts at $70. Yeah, it's pricey, but damn it looks good. Haven't decided if I will get one yet.

BTW: Click the macbook air to enter the site

Thanks for the link, the case looks *really* good!

<OT>
The Vaja site features loads of eye-candy.
Too bad that they use that much Flash,
every subpage first showed the 'Loading...' progress indicator:-(
However the Vaja site is still much more user-friendly than the
Tissot Watches site, which is a Flash hell, too...
</OT>

But I won't buy one of these. Half a year ago,
I would have instantly bought the case,
but since we have all these gimmicks in our house,
like N810, iTouch, iPhone, and ThinkPad, I have the choice.

My experience is that it's much easier and faster to simply check
some web pages and email with the iPhone than with the N810,
at least when sitting on the sofa in the living room.

<Semi-OT>
Even the new announcement of the incremental update feature
for the OS (Diablo) didn't make me jump off the chair,
as this was something the unit should have had a year ago.

Nevertheless good they made it at all;-)

Wow, a Vaja case for the N810 - thats the furst thing I will buy.

I love Vaja cases and have had one for my pricey gadgets - as a good protection as well as enhancing the looks.
Thanks for the tip.

Edit : Oh, its a slip case (the parent did mention). I would have loved to have a holster case like the iPhone case which covers the back and holds on to the 4 corners leaving the screen open totally for use. I want a case which can be on the N810 while in use also.

I found Vaja to be over-expensive for what you get. I'll be skipping this as I can get an Aluminum Hardcase with clear screen for 29 bucks..

Just a quick question - how does the Aluminium cases feel in the hand - is it cold and metallic or are they anodised and feel 'warmer' somehow ?

I nearly liked a Aluminium case - looks wise - but backed off and bought a PDair Leather case (with white stitching) and a open case (i.e. screen is exposed).

Would have still loved a Vaja holster case if only it was a open case and not a slip case... but you are correct - they are too damn expensive ... had a Vaja case for my MotoRazr and now for my N95 too.

A part of me really likes this case... but I had a custom one made up by Working Class Heroes instead.

Does anyone know how well this Vaja case would fit an N800 ?

I know there are slight dimension differences, but I'm hoping it's a good fit.

Does anybody know ?

Thanks

This reminds me of a scene in the book version of Sense and Sensibility (I haven't seen the movie) in which customers are waiting in line behnd someone who is buying the ultimate toothpick case.

I don't have the Vaja, but I do have both an N800 and an N810.
The N800 is significantly larger, especially as concerns a formfitting case.
