There was an issue on cron on XperiaX and when solving that I found a bug in the implementation that for some reason had never bitten me on Jolla sbj1.

(see https://together.jolla.com/question/...-empty-output/ for description of the problem)

Now I have fixed that and released new RPM's;
http://swagman.org/juice/vixie-cron-3.0pl2-2.src.rpm
http://swagman.org/juice/vixie-cron-...-2.armv7hl.rpm

The new version will also be available in openrepos when @ade gets around updating the files.

Thanks a lot for patching, I updated my version on openrepos!

Do note my version on openrepos was/is a bit different (no man pages and the daemon is called crond, not vixie_crond).

In my personal experience, there is a small issue during an upgrade; the service got stopped/disabled.
I don't know for sure, but I think the %preun step in the spec file kicks in unwanted during an upgrade.

Following http://meinit.nl/rpm-spec-prepostpre...rgument-values you can act on argument values to do more specific actions (or no action at all).
I now check some of the conditions in my openrepos RPM, hope it helps for the next update
