In the last few days I used camera a lot and sometimes the viewfinder became black.
Already tried :
killall jolla-camera
systemctl-user restart booster-silica-qt5.service
restart of lipstik.service

Nothing helps to restore camera to work again except reboot
Anybody know which process we can restart to get camera back without reboot ?
Thanks

I don't have any solution, but I've encountered the same problem. Do you know if there's together-item for this bug?

try killing mm-qcamera-daemon

I'll just add I also had this happen in the last few days.
Will try the workaround next time it shows up and report back.

ok, it happened again. and killall mm-qcamera-daemon not helped...
if you run: find / -name "*camera*"
in the long list you can see this servise: /usr/share/dbus-1/services/com.jolla.camera.service
I wanted to try to restart it, but dont know how..

Yesterday it happened to me again...
And I remembered to try this command:
Code:
killall -KILL mm-qcamera-daemon
But no results like before.... Also tried different services restart (lipstick etc..), but also without result
Only reboot helps in that situation....
What strange, that the camera continued working on android app, for example whatsapp...
