Not able to make it work. Anyone able to make it work on Nokia N900 please share how.

Install Hide User Agent from Application Manager
Go to Control Panel and open Hide User Agent
Set user agent to

Mozilla/5.0(iPad; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Mobile/7B314 Safari/531.21.10

Click on the Set
Then the browser will be restarted
Now go to the browser, and navigate to, and log into Gmail
and that’s it, test it out your self and tell us what you think!

I did, but it's no good. You have to get the correct user agent from http://www.useragentstring.com/pages/Safari/ - I believe the one below is the one which I used:

Code:
Mozilla/5.0(iPad; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Mobile/7B314 Safari/531.21.10
I have to confess I didn't keep it for long though because although it was pretty seeing a two-panelled gmail, I couldn't respond or compose any email from it.

Yah I have removed it too. I was not able to make it work with the code specified by you as well. Tried the other codes also

I have tried it. It's case-sensitive right? I was able to display two panels with frames, but content kept on loading...

Goto User Agent in settings and then click on remove. Restart the browser then it should be fine.
