We thought bank account set-up and transfer would have been done already (unfortunately not) and exchange the banner, not remove and bring a new one...

Removing old banner and adding a new one has the advantage of catching attention. Otherwise, people would just think: Oh, that's out-of-date banner, I will not even click it.

Of course it needs to be a (completely) new, different, eye-catching one!
Monetary situation is not as bad as a new fund is immediately needed. But take these words with agrain of salt (also as situation about hosting/hardware/... might change).
Win7Mac, chemist, juiceme are the ones to give exact informations about that.
