-that noise might be lose battery...i run with my n900, holding in my hand. The only thing that bothers me is weight and sweat. I run for 50 mins...so it's a real issue :-)

I have gone running with my N900 in a arm case several times. it is really handy, especially when used with, say, gpsrecorder. The only thing I don't like is the tendency for the arm band to slide down my arm (it was a cheapo one I got at kmart).

Been hugely enjoying my iTouch4g + stereo BT Sennheiser MM100's.
Tried the N900, but not really suitable for that application IMO.
