So one assumes it would be in the Rake Ballroom, which can house 120 people

Exactly. It stopped being an issue in around 2008, and since then it's ok for anyone to do that.

Like said by mrsellout it should and can only be held in Rake Ballroom as there's really no other options with others rooms being that much smaller.

Place did sound very random, but actually Nokia has held Open Lab events years ago in there.

I managed to get invite from DNA. The event is supposed to start in Klaus K at 7pm EET - invite only. No agenda has been given and I dont know, if the actual product reveal has already taken place by then. The location is said to be Klaus K's Livingroom. Id expect Jolla to have booked more than one are in the hotel since the Livingroom is not ideal for revealing the device, if that is the plan.

And please, something more unlike than the Sailfish girls.

You should have put on the first page the countdown html that someone else posted in the Jolla video thread.

Here it is. You copy this and paste it as a web address in your browser. Again I'm not the original person that posted this someone else was.

data:text/html, <html><head><link href="http://www.egrappler.com/county/css/county.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/><link href="http://www.egrappler.com/county/css/demo.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"/><script src="http://www.egrappler.com/county/js/jquery-1.8.3.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script><script src="http://www.egrappler.com/county/js/county.js" type="text/javascript"></script><script type="text/javascript">$(document).ready(function () {$('%23my-count-down').county({ endDateTime: new Date('2013/05/20 16:30:00'), reflection: true, animation: 'scroll', theme: 'black' });});</script></head><body style="background-color:%23000000;"><span style="color:white; font-weight:bold; font-size:14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica;">Jolla announcement in:<br/><br/><div id="my-count-down"></div></body></html>

Cool but you should change the 'endDateTime'

to 16:30:00 to get the correct time.
