Hi, sorry if this has been posted already, but I cannot any information on any site concerning flashing the N900 so that it can be used on the Cricket Wireless network (USA), if anyone has any information, I would be very grateful.

I was originally planning to get a Palm Pre flashed to cricket, but the information on that is very unsatisfactory so far.

What do those two devices have in common for my purposes? The availability of Palm OS emulators that can hotsync with a Windows desktop. I mention this in case anyone wants to weight in on my options.

Also, cricket expects cdma, not gms or a sim card, for what is worth

Thanks in advance for any and all tips.

Sorry, but you can't switch a phone from GSM to CDMA by updating its software.

Oh, so the N900 is only GSM? I thought it was CDMA also, based on some topics elsewhere.
