The problem I am facing with this application is that I am not able to see the tab buttons below the images. Any ideas on how to fix it?

It's just the same for me, with some bugs at the bottom of the pics (not showing the icons, but the icons are "active", you can use the invisable icons)....
I'll just pass this one and just stay at stock image viewer

yes, it's a spinning motion to zoom in the photos gallery, with finger or stilus, like the native one we have on the microb browser for exemple, but not in the native photos gallery, always works great for me !
