Has any one done this yet?
Thinking the bootmenu and installing Meego on my SD card?
I will not flash away my Fremantle install just to try something, and if I can get it native Id rather not spoil it with chrooting Meego (due to the performance)

So what are your thoughts and experience on the subject?

The plan is to bring this feature. Not there yet. If you don't want to reflash your device to try MeeGo just wait.

Is it possible to run meego through the Maemo SDK (simulator)?

You can use same instructions what have made by user jebba to install mer dualboot:http://wiki.maemo.org/User:Jebba/Mer.
Only replace (Mer Image) with meego image:http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/devel/n9...3311626.tar.gz.
I have tested and works like charm.
