Is there any good application of telematics for n900?

I'm searching an application for old people:

If the person falls down or is a long time in horizontal position some persons of the contact list are dialed and a standard message is sent.


Wouldn't this be a good extension for the sleep analyser?

(Or if a person stops breathing ... )

Also a connection to a sensor with a cardiogramm by bluetooth could be interesting.

This would drain battery very fast. If the person can recharge battery every several hours is it OK. If he/she needs to stay with the phone whole day, n900'th battery is too weak.

"Grandpa, that device would inform me when you lie flat on the floor for too long. However, don't forget to charge it fully before you're lying flat on the floor."

I think you should get a real telemetric device for old people.

My n900 lasts several hours in sleep mode.

Also "professional" telematic devices don't last for ever.
(Battery about 2-3 days)

You have to recharge anyway.

If you use it also as a phone you are more likely willing to have it charged all the times.
