Hi all,

I seem to have developed an issue with my N9's bluetooth.

I was in the middle of transferring a pic from my phone to my laptop and 50% of the way through the upload process, bluetooth just turned itself off and left the transfer incomplete.

I check the bluetooth settings and for some reason it had turned itself off - but now I cannot turn it back on.

I go into 'settings' and select 'bluetooth' and my N9 'hangs' for around 30-40 seconds and the 'bluetooth' options screen finally comes up.
I click the switch to turn bluetooth on, and my device just hangs in the bluetooth settings screen.

I can still swipe to other screens and everything else seems to be operating as usual - just the bluetooth screen is left hanging.

I'm trying my hardest to avoid flashing or resetting anything as I'm paranoid about losing data, but I'm at a loss as to what else I could do.

I've tried rebooting, but nothing else at this stage, so does anyone else know of a way to fix?

Thanks in advance.

Try deleting your laptop pairing and then reinstall, see if that helps

Thanks for the tip, but because the Bluetooth settings screen is hanging I am unable to enter the devices page as it is greyed out.

Just to add, I just checked my About Product screen and under the Bluetooth Address there is no data, other than a dash symbol (-)

maybe you dropped the device too many times to the floor, and need to throw it to the wall to get it fixed ;-)

... or take it to nokia care.

Lol, thanks rainisto.
Its had a couple of light drops, but nothing too hard.

I think you may be right re my local service centre.

I will take it in on Monday if no other solutions come in from here.

The only resolution I could find to this problem was to flash the phone.

Problem solved...

Hello Bro,

I also faced the same problem just yesterday. would you please advise on which software did you use for solving the problem. I am afraid of using inappropriate flashing software!

Thanks in advance
