I can't install easy deb on my Phone i reflashed device several times already, not because of easy deb, because i was experimenting with it, but with none of the installation easy deb was possible to install.

When i try to installl it it is non installable, it's missing libxmu6 package. Under listing in repos the package is not there. But i found the package manually on repository.maemo.org.

When i found a package i downloaded libxmu6 armel deb file and tried to install it but it says it's obsolete package and it has a conflict with another package.

So i couldn't install it. Is it possible to get easy deb on Maemo 5 ?

Soooo...a couple of things ...1stly it needs official nokia repos (unless it is elsewhere in extras / extras devel / etc...which I doooooon't think it is..and then there are the continued probs which seem to escalate if you manage to get one thing ..others pop up....soooo) there is a fella who did mirrors of the official nokia catalogs ...if memory serves...all you need to do is disable the non-functional official nokian catalogs and enable these ones ...
http://maemo.gilababy.com/apt-mirror/
then enable extras-devel...
remember to refresh...
then you should be able to install easy deb.

All of this is assuming you are having dep issues related to not having proper catalogs enabled in the 1st place...(or if you've done something odd and mucked things up ..)
And looking closely ...it appears you are simply trying to install easy deb.
Now a question for you Lonerunner...
You didn't go into the app. man. catalog and enable extras - devel did you? You gotta do that...and after installing easy deb. disable extras-devel ...
I'm just shootin' from the hip on guessing there...

Off the top ...
I remem. back a couple years ago ..
I was having a similar prob...
I needed to enable extras devel and for some strange reason that didn't do it...
I can't remember if I refreshed properly or not at the time...
grew frustrated after much puttering..
and reflashed my device and made certain not to muck things up and ...did things proper-like and easy deb. installed without an issue after that...
Since then ..I haven't had a prob installing easy deb. on my n900's (knock on wood)
just make sure to enable your extras-devel ...
and if it is truly necessary...
utilize that mirror of functioning nokia catalogs ...
and (to reiterate ..) don't forget to disable extras-devel afterward.

heeheee
Jellyroll ..
I love how you are starting him off on reading the Great Epics of our time

Lonerunner..I do suggest you pull out your reading glasses pull up a comfy chair and a drink....either stiff or caffeinated...and knuckle down...
You will be an authority by the time you finish jelly's list of required reading .
And it doesn't hurt to know everything on a topic...it empowers.

Alright after i rested a bit and have time to experiment again with my phone it looks like resolving a problem was very easy.

I know that nokia and ovi store repositories are down, what i didn't know is where to look for alternatives. I searched maemo forum up and down but looks like i didn't looked at correct topics.

So upon adding repost from gilababy i was able to install easy deb and looks like now everything works fine.

@jelloroll i took a quick look at what are the links but i was too tired to read the topics completely they are way too long and it was 5am at that time.
I will definitely read more now specially about kali linux because it's next on my to try list.
