or just remove it and configuration files and re-install and -configure?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the configuration files? I removed it and the N900 still send messages when ever I reboot it. tried to uninstall SYSCON but no use.

did you uninstall the smscon or the smscon-editor?

You can use the application manager.

I used the application manager to remove both smscon & smscon editor

I assume you mean that the removal completed successfully, it is not anymore in the installed applications list and you are still receiving sms from smscon?

what is the output of the following?

Code:
ls -al /opt/smscon*

Just installed it but the default password doesn't work (12345) nor any of my own passwords... any suggestions ?
Thx

Hmm, seems I just installed the config GUI and had smscon already (early dementia).

Stilll can't get in so wil delete all and reinstall.

*Solved (my bad)*
