OK, I wonder if the folks here can do any better than Nokia support.

First check out this page: http://www.nokiausa.com/A4686323

Next, note step one, at the bottom of the page: "Download the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard and save it to your computer." This is also the first step in the manual method in the link at the bottom of the page.

Here's the test: where is the download link for this Updater Wizard? They don't give a link on the page, and I can't find one by searching support. All trails eventually lead back to this page, and unless I'm blind, there's no download link on this page.

Nokia's response was to download it from that page, and if there's a problem, contact my ISP. I'd like to know how they think my ISP can rewrite their page so that it contains a link the page does not now contain. Well, OK, that's not really what I want to know--I just want to know where to download the Updater Wizard software. Apparently they don't know, or they just don't want to tell me.

Link, anyone?

I appreciate that a lot of the people on this site are Linux familiar and can do this with one finger and no stinking software assistance. I'm not one of those people--I'd really rather just do it the way they recommend.

Help, please! :-)

N800 support page. Stupid, yes. Tossing an e-mail in the direction of Nokia's website staff might prove helpful.

I went back to check the N810 update page today, and the link is there now.
