I remember we had some similar issues in Gngeo-gui.
In my case, this key always returns value 273 (in Spanish and my native settings (where it is the up key)). So that seems consistent. But you get 199 returned as code? Or is it cps2emu that does not handle it in the correct way?

The code is always 199, both in gngeo-gui (which works correctly) and cps2emu-gui.

Does it help when you enter the code 273 instead of 199?

I'm afraid not. By manually entering that value in the GUI for PUSH4 it acts again as the UP key.

If I change the keyboard layout to English it works as expected.

I tested it again with spanish regional and language settings, but no issues with Cps2-gui nor cps2emu.

I could give you a version of cps2emu that prints out the pressed keys and see what it comes up with. Let me know if you want to try that.

Of course, I'll be glad to test it. Thanks.

I got this test feedback from ivgalvez:

I followed the steps and the code for key "ç" with Spanish keyboard layout turned to be 231 instead of 199 as it's shown in cps2-gui or gngeo-gui.

I have tested manually by entering the code in cps2-gui and it worked as expected.
So keep this in mind for spanish devices. I am afraid I can't solve it in a generic way, but I will have a look at it.

Hello colakang,

I am afraid not, for various reasons:
- I do not have a N9 or N950
- I do not have a N9 development environment
- The absence of a keyboard would require some kind of on-screen-display added

I am not aware of alternative CPS2 emulators for the N9. Perhaps Elemental could help you by adding it to his Emumaster project. You could at least ask him kindly
