Hi there...

There has been many threads about this one, but I can't find anything useful what so ever about installing catorise. I tried everything what can be tried, reinstalling my maemo, deleting apps, reinstalling them, etc.

Tried what som3a tried in this thread http://188.117.59.209/showthread.php?t=85796 and it's not working at all.

Can some one help me please??

if you don't know to do that it's hard to explain
terminal
root
apt-get install liblocale-gettext-perl
apt-get install -f
try that

tle last line is for fixing dependcies , you use that if you have installed already catorise and can't use it due to missing dependcies
otherwive after the last line use :
apt-get install catoriseplus

It finally worked, Alecsandru and som3a are the one you should say thanks.

You must have rootsh installed or else this will not work!!!!

1. Open X terminal.

2. Write sudo gainroot.

3. Write apt-get update (wait until updating is finished, takes about 30 sceonds).

4. Write apt-get install -f.

5. Write apt-get install liblocale-gettext-perl.

6. After that, you have some code writing on it's own and at the end of it, it's asks you to install it, write y (for yes).

7.Wait until it finishes and the install catorise.

Thanks for that info, it was useful, except no one said or wrote that you have to aprove the installation of the liblocale.

gettext.pm is in /usr/lib/perl5/Locale and is part of liblocale-gettext-perl.
I see you have /usr/lib/perl5 on the list. Reinstall liblocale-gettext-perl, perhaps?
