What I want to know is, is it possible to connect to my PC via wifi (no internet) while simulaneously being connected to net via GPRS/3G.

Why I want this is- to be able to use the wifi network for accessing my PC's media files (via Media Player), use N900 notify, etc while at the same time being connected to 3G.

Is it possible?

The simplest way is to make your N900 a WiFi hotspot and have PC connected to it: [HOWTO] N900 WiFi Hotspot (shell script version).

If you don't want the PC use N900's Internet connect, simple change the default routing from N900 to PC's original default routing (usually your home router)

Hmm... Intresting. Will definitely try this.

But in this case, the Pc is connecting to N900's hotspot while I want the n900 to connect to the PC's hotspot.

You could try these in your N900:
Code:
iwconfig wlan0 mode managed key [WEP key]
iwconfig wlan0 essid "[ESSID]"
ifconfig wlan0 192.168.1.10 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
(192.168.1 is the WiFi network of yours. Customize your own)

I haven't tried above commands on N900 though. Tell us if it works.

I tried the above. It connects to the wifi alright, but it simultaneously disconnects the GPRS connection.
