Follow this advice if you feel like reflashing your device pretty soon afterwards...

There are lots and lots of problems with those so called "patches", and a simple search will tell you why.

I have been using those patchs for a long time and i didn't need to reflash my phone.

If you want some games, install preenv and webos games manager. You will be able to play some games for palm pre.

Also take a look to the nokia store. There are a lot of star arcade games for free like jelly wars, star tic tac toe and star diamons paradise.

Good for you! You are aware that others have different experiences and that hence the advice, based on your own user experience, deserves a warning statement just as well as the positive advocacy?

I mean, after all, the OP's idea was to start out fresh, right?

It's not advised to switch between Stable and Testing.
Stable to Testing maybe possible and Testing to Stable is more than likely to mess a lot of stuff up.
Please read this, and if you have time read the whole thread a lot of potential questions about CSSU will be answered.

The recommended way to switch branches of CSSU is to reflash to PR1.3
Thank you!
I found it! It's nice!
In your point of view..Do you recommend also those 2 patches that Brian_7 mention:

Cool.
No I would not recommend them.

If you do some research you will find multiple threads on the matter.
Some people have had no problems, but overall in the community it is unproven and unnecessary.
Take a look at the package pages there are multiple testers giving it bad karma.

You can't recommend a package just because it works for a hand full of people.
Hence my overall rule.
Be wary of installing anything called 'patch'.
