Hi there;

I have sussefuly config a SIP acount on my N900.

how do i choose with account a call should use:

for example, when i'm using da dialing pad, i can choose to make the call by cellular account or SIP account. (cool i like it).

but when i´m using a contact from the contact list, i can find a way to swith the type of call.

i need to had a SIP field to the contact, then i can call with SIP account. i dont like this method, it makes me to insert new fields with information i already have (its the phone number), it+s anoying.

is there a way, where i can make a call to a contact via SIP account, without the need of insert a new SIP field.
(the number i'm dialing is the same as Phone number, why sould i insert a new field with that information).

i want to, select a contact then, select if my call shoud be made by SIP or Cellular, just like the dialing pad, no need of SIP field

can this be done.

Thanks 4 Help

Inneed, PT

I love Maemo.

my issue is more that when you press on the call log. with the phone section, you can't just call back someone and choose for a particular calling method. Like when someone miss called you, and you press the phone button, you can't call back with an alternative method without going for the contacts or dialing pad

Assume your phone number is: 18005555555
Assume the password to your web-based Vyke account is:
MyPassWord

1.Profile Name: 'Vyke'
2. Service profile:'IETF'
3. Default destination: 'Vyke'
4. Public user name: 'sip:18005555555@sip.vyke.com'

5. Use compression: 'No'
6. Registration: 'When needed'
7. Use security: 'No'

PROXY SERVER

1.Proxy server address: 'sip:sip.vyke.com'
2. Realm: 'sip.vyke.com'
3. User name: 18005555555
4.Password: 'MyPassWord'
5. Allow loose routing: 'Yes'
6. Transport type: 'UDP'
7. Port: 5060.

I have taken the above settings from my connection settings on my N86, in the United States. I can't be sure they will work for you. good luck.
