the MP attribute in this case applies only to images. this is the maximum quality for video, and it's far too low for 720p:

MP can affect frame-rate indirectly. I.e. a 2MP camera might not provide the necessary processing bandwidth required for 30fps 720p video. But the OMAP3 in there doesn't really do 720p video encoding so even if the camera could do it, it would practically be of little use.

dont forget I8910 with exactly same cpu and hardware can record 720p So this limit is come from Nokia not hardware

I'll Talk to Roman Moravcik, and hopefully get this updated. It's going to be a mess with this new keyboard layout. I'll have to redesign new layout for Khmer keyboard for him as well.

Before you get carried away, the OMAP3430 is NOT rated to do 720p (technically, it claims 30fps 720x480, but the N900 trades a few fps for extra width). So if any device does it, it either has additional hardware assistance, uses some funky codec/resolution trick or is simply overclocked.

Yep, it works, rearrangement doesn't though
User Guide goes in system if you're curious.
