If the same package is included in multiple repositories in your catalog, how will the application manager decide which to install?

It will pick the highest version. If both versions are the same it might resort to picking from the lowest numbered line in sources.list or (sources.list.d/hildon-whatever). Well, at least this applies for apt. I'm not sure if app man adds some additional rule on top.
