Ive installed aircrack-ng and aircrack-ptw to test my wifi's security but I dont know how to make it run properly.
Also are there any other applications I could use to test my wifi.

Thanks for the link but none of the applications were compatible.
Also because I'm a newbie I need instructions on how to use them and what each application does.

You need to gather enough packets (dsniff) then use aircrack to crack your pass.
