This sounds like a very interesting project. Downloading Qt Frameworks now, might try and learn some of this stuff and see if I can contribute =D
Side note, can someone point me to the download link, it says on developer.nokia.com that qt framework is for symbian :S

I'm watching this thread closely every day.
Present me with a mp4 6 sec video suitable for Vine.
Of course, an app too, that produces such a video, and we can continue with API.

It might be a while before I do anything.. the download is ridiculously slow...
Going on a road trip soon which will mean long amounts of time with me and my laptop, so I will make sure I have everything downloaded, and I will work towards learning some qt

Remember, your goal is to produce a 6 second video with mp4 file extension.
Codec, format and rest will be supplied when I extract such info.
Does anyone have Android apk of Vine?

I can go up to 4k.
I've not tried it but I think its Qt, would need to be adapted for QML.
