k apologies for double post but this needs a little bump anyway:
when i try "airmon-ng start wlan0"
i get this message:
nterface Chipset Driver
wlan0 Unknown wl12xx - [phy0]
ERROR: Neither the sysfs interface links nor the iw command is available.
Please download and install iw from
http://wireless.kernel.org/download/...0.9.17.tar.bz2
Does any aircrack experienced user know what this means and or where and how we can intergrate aircrack sucessfully with the n900? seems if i want to audit a network properly i have to use airmon anyway, please let me know if that isn't the case. :P i havent had time to do real research recently ergh.
i tried: "airodump-ng --ivs wlan0" and got
ARP linktype is set to 1 (Ethernet) - expected ARPHRD_IEEE80211,
ARPHRD_IEEE80211_FULL or ARPHRD_IEEE80211_PRISM instead. Make
sure RFMON is enabled: run 'airmon-ng start wlan0 <#>'
Sysfs injection support was not found either.
i have no idea about aircrack on a desktop machine in the first place, so... hmm yes ideas, anyone?
(sent from my Nokia n900)
