Wow, what an utterly useless video. Stick to trailers after each other and then get the specs wrong. It tells me nothing about which phone is actually usable and which one isn't, all it shows is both HTC and Nokia can do fancy video's.

Maemo is built on Linux + Physical keyboard. I'll avoid Windows where ever possible!

Windows Mobile means "no" to me. Probably wouldn't mind the Android, but WinMo is just too horrible. Sorry.

So I saw the news that an Android version of the HD2 is coming out.
I haven't post in this forum in years, but this phone compelled me to make a post.
A 4.3" screen is much more usable than the 3.5" screen. I feel that Nokia has abandoned its traditional IT users.
I lost my n800 recently in a camping trip. I have to say the n900 does absolutely nothing to me. I may buy an used n800 or 810. Or this HTC phone, or that Dell 5" MID.
I haven't post in this forum in years, but this phone compelled me to make a post.

I agree with you that the HD2 might be a better internet tablet from a hardware point of view.
However these are the things I like better in the N900 :
- 32GB flash memory included + microsdhc slot
- probably better internet browser
- probably better camera
- hardware keyboard
- FM transmitter
- might be cheaper
Maybe I'll consider the HD2 if USB host is working well on it, for example to read big usb memory keys ...
